The V.A.T. application domain is the whole European Union, but in Spain the Canary Island are not part of this domain. It means that when goods go out from U.K. to Tenerife (for example), then you should consider it as an exportation (as if it was sent to the U.S.A.). The “VAT package” does apply form January, 1st , 2010. It is quite complicated.
